Free Webinar: Fundamentals of Retaining Short Term Volunteers
Is your organisation seeing an increase in the number of volunteers offering to help during the COVID-19 crisis? Louth Volunteer Centre has seen a 145% increase in volunteer registrations in the first quarter of 2020, with most volunteers keen to get involved in supporting the COVID-19 efforts. This may be for a variety of reasons; as we know, a lot of people have found themselves suddenly out of work and there is an increased awareness of the need for volunteers through the government's Community Call.
But what is the key to keeping at least some of these new volunteers beyond COVID-19? Volunteer Ireland will discuss the fundamentals of creating a positive volunteering culture and engaging volunteers in a meaningful way in a free webinar on Tuesday May 5th.
The webinar will take place online from 11am-12pm and registration is free. Registration is available via this link.
