Richard Hanlon (Chairperson)
Richard currently works with the Professional Services firm Aon as their Head of Cyber Solutions UK and European Chief Commerical officer. Based in Louth, Richard is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Masters in Human Resource Strategies from Dublin City University. Richard has held a number of board roles in the voluntary sector and is currently also Chair of the North-East Regional Enterprise Plan Steering Committee appointed by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment

Mary Cleary* (Treasurer)
Mary was appointed Treasurer at our AGM on the 21st September 2020. Mary is a CPA qualified tax advisor with over 20 years accounts and finance experience in a broad range of sectors. Mary is also an active volunteer, she is a Gaisce Presidents’ Award Leader providing mentoring supports to young people outside of education settings and volunteered at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann through Louth Volunteer Centre.

Siobhan Molloy (Secretary –  Appointed 08/09/2020)
Siobhán currently works in Communications and Marketing in the third level educational sector. She previously held the role of Company Executive Director / Creative Director with an International Irish brand and has over 20 years management experience specialising in Marketing and Communications with various global  brands. Siobhán is also a qualified psychotherapist, with a Masters in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy and volunteers her time in the fields of adolescent and relationship counselling. She also recently completed a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Management.

MICHELLE WELDON (Board Member)

Michelle is a highly skilled finance professional with over 17 years’ experience in Hedge Fund Administration. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Her expertise encompasses Fund Accounting & driving business initiatives, leading offshore teams to achieve business strategic transformation. Michelle has volunteered with Junior Achievement Ireland and managed relationships with DKIT and DRCC under the State Street CSP programme.

Matthew Butterly
Matthew is the Training Manager for the Airport Police with Dublin Airport I am responsible for the development and delivery of the Surveillance, Patrolling and Access Control regime that is required for use by Police Officers at Dublin and Cork Airports.
Matthew completed a diploma in legal studies at Kings In in 2021 and successfully passed his Barrister at Law exams, he will pursue his BL with Kings Inn in 2022 and beyond.

Javed Afzal
Javed moved to Ireland in April 2017 and made Drogheda his new home. Having worked primarily in banks in the UAE, he now operates as an independent business consultant and been active in bringing FDI for real estate and tech projects in Ireland. 

Sylwia Willis 
Sylwia is currently employed at UHY Farrelly Dawe White as an Accounts and Audit Manager. She specialises in providing statutory audit services for the charity and non-profit sector, as well as preparing statutory financial statements (including SORP accounts). I have experience in providing internal audit for charities and auditing grant reports (including EU funding). In 2021, she successfully completed the Charity Law, Trusteeship and Governance course provided by the Law Society of Ireland. In addition, she is a Non-Executive Director and Treasurer of the WBR Credit Union in Warrenpoint, Co. Down.

Linda Stevens
Linda is an experienced former Executive Director (retired) with a track record of accomplishment and leadership in the development of innovative enterprise at University of Limerick namely a successful summer conference and events business now worth €2.5m to campus and €6m to the Shannon region. Linda is formerly the community manager of Carlingford Heritage centre.

Tara Brady
Tara was most recently head of HR Global with Horseware Bidco Ltd and a member of the group Senior Executive team reporting directly into the Group CEO, attending the monthly Board meetings and presenting on behalf of the groups HR function.
