Louth Volunteer Leader's Network

Volunteer Leaders Network

National Volunteering Week 2023 takes place from Monday May 15th to Sunday May 21st.

We will be starting off the week with our next Volunteer Leaders Network meeting, whichwill be held in person at our upcoming Volunteering leadership seminar in Castlebellingham on May the 16th at 11am.

This is an excellent opportunity to chat with other Volunteer Leaders in County Louth and to share the challenges and issues you have and are currently facing in relation to COVID-19. It is also an opportunity to share learning, successes, and resources.

We have been hosting Volunteer Leader's Networks in Drogheda, Dundalk and Ardee since June 2017.

Participation in our Volunteer Leaders' Network  provides an excellent opportunity to meet with people in your area who also involve volunteers in their organisation and to chat about any issues which are relevant to you in relation to volunteer leadership.

While the Louth Volunteer Centre team facilitate these sessions topics discussed are chosen by members and the network really belongs to the volunteer leaders in attendance.

We are delighted to have hosted our first County-Wide online session recently.  The meeting was hosted on Zoom on Monday 15th June at 11am.

One of the outcomes of this session was a training to be delivered by Louth Volunteer Centre called "Ready and Able" which focuses on what Volunteer Involving Organisations need to have in place for re-opening.
