Many older people are huge contributors to their communities bringing a wealth of life and professional experience to their roles. The COVID19 crisis has had multiple negative impacts on our communities, one of which has been the reduction in access to opportunities to make a difference in our community; especially for people in ‘older’ age brackets, told to cocoon from the outset of the crisis. Our communities have been the poorer for this loss but what has been the experience for the individual?
