Free Training Workshops Facilitated by Louth Volunteer Centre

Louth Volunteer Centre recently facilitated two free training events for organisations in Louth. Both events were well attended with very positive feedback given.

The first workshop, Ready & Able took attendees through a practical workbook designed specifically for the Community and Voluntary sector. The workbook helps organisations to assess their readiness to open; identify the practical steps required to reopening; and map out how to create, implement and review your own COVID-19 response plan.

The second workshop on developing an effective annual report focused on the needs of smaller nonprofits and will be of great benefit in acknowledging, encouraging and promoting good governance practice in the area of annual reports and others areas of good governance practice.

CRITICALL Louth

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEERS WHO DONATED DURING OUR TWO CRITICALL EVENTS!

Both events, the first on July 11th and the second on August 8th, were extremely successful with clients of both Drogheda Women and Children's refuge and Women's Aid Dundalk benefitting greatly from the generosity of volunteers.

Thank you, to everyone who volunteered and donated for our #CRITICALL initiative. It's success was evident as lots of essential items for Drogheda Womes Aid and Children Refuge Centre and Womens Aid Dundalk were donated.

A massive thank you also goes out to St. Oliver's Scout Group Drogheda 3rd/4th/6th and St. Patrick's Scout Group Dundalk 1st/2nd/5th whose members were key in organising the #CRITICALL donation collections.
